ARTIST NOTES: This old rudge has it all, texture of wood, leather, rubber and metal. I love to paint anything old and that has a lot of texture.
The medium I use, is unique to myself. I call this pyrowax. First I use pyrography (wood burning) as my under painting, I then add colour using encaustic paint (melted beeswax mixed with damar resin and colour pigment) Many artists use these individual mediums, but no one else blends them as I do, that I know of.
